Duty of Care action at Josh Frydenberg’s office

The Australian federal court recently ruled that the federal government has a duty of care to protect future generations from climate harm, and the federal government is seeking to appeal this ruling.

Extinction Rebellion staged an action at the front of Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg’s electoral office to demand that the government take its commitment to protecting future generations seriously.

Two activists scaled the roof and remained in place for close to six hours as police were reportedly reluctant to make any arrests. Several activists also glued on the front door entrance to the office.
