Stop Black Deaths in Custody – Snap Action

In response to the death of an Aboriginal woman in custody at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre in Melbourne’s west, the family of the deceased woman called a snap action to demand reform to the justice system.

More than 475 Aboriginal people have died in custody since the end of the 1991 Royal Commission into Aboriginal deaths in custody.
