Swans Not Guns

Anti-war activists blockaded the entrance to Swan Island (which hosts an SAS base) in Queenscliff.

Another small group also canoed and landed on the beach front near the SAS base to stage a performance piece – proclaiming the island “liberated” from militarisation.

The Swan Island SAS base has often been a target for anti-war activists over the years.
