Several hundred people take to the steps of the Victorian Parliament, as hundreds rally across the country to call for an end to native forest logging.
Close to 200 people defied draconian anti-forestry protest laws which came into effect on Saturday, participating in mass forest surveys.
A small group of activists took their opposition to anti-forestry protest legislation to the front steps of the Victorian Parliament. The activists were joined by Victorian Greens MPs Sam Hibbins and Tim Read.
