We were hired by the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN) to photograph its 2025 Jerusalem (Al Quds) Peace Prize event, hosted at Melbourne Town Hall. The Jerusalem (Al Quds) Peace Prize recognises the inspirational and extraordinary contributions and devoted efforts of people seeking to aid Palestinians in their call for justice, and is an event held annually.

We started out by shooting the detail. Before long, attendees soon started streaming in, with plenty of group shots taken at the media wall, as well as some candid moments as people arrived and signed in.
Guests were soon seated and proceedings got underway. APAN President Nasser Mashni addressed attendees.

We found this event to be a pleasant one to shoot. Melbourne Town Hall is also a great venue for these sorts of formal celebratory types of events with its warm colour tones befitting well the tone of the event itself, and we had little issue with lighting. APAN was also excellent to work with.
