Melbourne and Geelong portrait photography. Whether you’re an individual simply wanting a good photo of yourself, are a candidate running for political office, are someone leading a campaign, are needing a media or promotional photo or are after headshots and team shots of your team, I can accommodate.

I can shoot portraits and headshots for a range of purposes, ranging from promotional, media, political candidates and any other individual who wants their photo taken.

My headshots are shot on location (either outdoors or indoors, depending on the context of the portrait), not in a studio. This results in a more naturalistic look and allows the viewer to contextualise you with your location and/or surroundings.

My work is also handled with ethics front and centre. What you will get is an image – or a series of images – that truly represent you; not a heavily edited version of you.

The resulting images are suitable for print on flyers or in advertisements, use on websites or social media and a whole lot more.

The process and how it works

For individuals, when contacting me, please either have a shoot location in mind – or tell me a bit about yourself and your background as this will allow me to determine a shoot location that best matches you.

If you don’t have a location in mind, I’ll then get back to you with a couple of options based on what you’ve told me about yourself and your stated background. At this stage, you may agree to either one of these suggestions, or reject them completely and suggest your own.

Once a location has been agreed, it’s then a matter of arranging a day and suitable time. It’s also at this stage that I’ll send you a price quote. We then meet at the agreed place, time and day and do the shoot! Note for outdoor shoots, the day and time may need to be changed dependent on weather and other adverse conditions – but this will be communicated with as much notice as possible. Within a week after our shoot, you get your images and an invoice.

When it comes to portraits, the aim is to create an image or set of images to represent you in the here and now as well as to still accurately represent you in five years time. In general, for individuals, it’s recommended that you arrive at your shoot having dressed and groomed yourself for general ‘going out’ – neat/smart casual and naturalistic. Dress code suggestions may be different depending on the context of the shoot. You may also wish to book a session with a make-up artist before our shoot.

Shoots are done in minimum 1 hour bookings, with bookings for single locations only. Additional locations will require further bookings.

If you need (or want) a headshot of yourself and/or your team, get in contact using the form below. I can accommodate most budgets.
