Melbourne and Geelong event and commercial photography

We were hired by IRESS Limited, a Melbourne based ASX:200 listed technology company (though it has operations across the world) that provides software for the financial services industry, to photograph its end-of-year, James Bond themed, company Christmas Party.

We sussed the company's socials and online presence and it's employees have quite a history of getting up to some fun shenanigans that even the management joins in on: from the Melbourne Cup and even past end of year work break ups. Generally not the typical after work get together and drinks with workmates. In short, this is a company that tends to up the 'fun factor' with its workplace social gatherings.

The event was hosted at the ALTO Event Space, in the Melbourne CBD - a warehouse style venue, featuring high sealings, wide open windows for natural light (though when we were there, it was a rather driery and grey Melbourne early summer late afternoon/early evening), concrete floors and a large outdoor terrace. From a photographer's perspective, it worked well.

For the editing, we went with warm, soft tones, which was an excellent match with the lighting and the golden hues throughout the venue.

A brave man, dressing up in full winter gear on a warm, humid, late summer afternoon. We've got to admire his commitment!
