The community has come together for Sovereign Day Out, an event organised at Camp Sovereignty.
Sovereign Day out takes place a week after Camp Sovereignty was violently attacked by neo-nazi white supremacists following the ‘March for Australia’ rally.
(For more on the neo nazi cowards who attacked Camp Sovereignty, see Tom Tanuki’s videos: NSN, child grooming cult and How neo-Nazis captured the March for Australia).
For the uninitiated, Camp Sovereignty is an Aboriginal protest camp located at Kings Domain Resting Place, a burial site and memorial for some 38 Aboriginal people. The camp was initially established during the 2006 Commonwealth Games, and was reestablished with support by Uncle Robbie Thorpe, Uncle Kev Buzzacott, Lidia Thorpe and other Indigenous activists and supporters, on January 26, 2024. Camp Sovereignty has has been almost continuously maintained since then.
Numerous musicians performed in front of hundreds of attendees. Uncle Robbie Thorpe and Senator Lidia Thorpe also spoke.

Hundreds of people attended Sovereign Day Out.
