We were hired for a second year (see: 2025 Al Quds Peace Prize) by the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN) to provide both photography and videography coverage of the annual Jerusalem (Al Quds) Peace Prize event.
This year's Jerusalem (Al Quads) Peace Prize recipient is writer and academic Randa Abdel-Fattah, and is the prize's first Palestinian recipient. See the write up on APAN's website to learn more of her background.
Abdel-Fattah came to attention when she led a mass boycott of the Bendigo Writer's Festival in 2025, over its code of conduct which required participants to avoid discussing "sensitive" topics and to adhere to Universities Australia's definition of antisemitism, which includes criticism of Israel.
This year's event was hosted at Aerial, in South Wharf. It was an all round solid venue to shoot at, though we definitely have a soft spot for Melbourne Town Hall's more rustic, warmer vibe.
We provide photography and videography services for all sorts of events in Melbourne and beyond. To enquire, get in contact with us.
