With the Victorian State Election coming up in November, campaign events and launches are also ramping up. The Greens have launched their campaign for the seat of Geelong; with Emilie Flynn being the candidate. This event also served as the launch of Dr Sarah Mansfield's reelection campaign. Mansfield is one of the incumbent members of the Victorian Legislative Council (and Deputy Parliamentary Leader of the Victorian Greens), representing the Western Victoria Region and was first elected at the 2022 Victorian State Election.

Dr Sarah Mansfield, member of the Victorian Legislative Council representing the Western Victoria region, and Deputy Leader of the Victorian Greens,
Greens Senator for Victoria, Steph Hodgins-May, also attended the event and spoke in support of the two candidates. Both Flynn and Hodgins-May, amping up attendees, spoke of the need to ensure that Mansfield is reelected in November.
The launch was well attended for a Greens event in regional Victoria. It was hosted at the fittingly named The Green Room Wine and Whiskey Bar, located on Pakington Street in Geelong West. The venue was absolutely great in terms of lighting. The launch event was held during daylight hours, and the venue had ample natural light.
