We photographed the 2022 Victorian State Election campaign launch of the Victorian Socialists. The event took place at the Victorian Trades Hall courtyard.
The party is targeting the Northern Metropolitan Region (with candidate Jerome Small) and the Western Metropolitan Region (with candidate Liz Walsh), in the Victorian Legislative Council. The party is also standing candidates in each of the 22 lower house electorates covering these two regions.
The event was well organised and attended, with more than 200 people attending. It featired speaches from the two aforemetioned lead candidates, as well as from trade union delegates and some of the Victorian Socialists lower house candidates.
