The Melbourne Palestinian community share and celebrate Palestine National Day at Fed Square, with traditional cultural performances, music, dance and of course food.
We were invited to photograph this event, and received some unprecedented behind the scenes access too. This is an annual event, and this year the event was co-hosted by the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network, Free Palestine Melbourne, Palestine Community Association of Victoria, among others.
We provide event photography services in Melbourne and beyond for all sorts of events, including cultural events. Have an event coming up? Get in contact.

There was food on offer, including kunafeh (courtesy of Kunafeh House), a traditional Palestinian dessert that originated in the Palestinian city of Nablus.

Falafel was also available courtesy of Wazzup Falafel, a street food popular in Palestine and throughout the Middle East.

Dabke performances. Dabke is a folk dance popular among Palestinians and other communities indigenous to the Levant. The audience joined in too.
