Logging continues in Wombat State Forest despite ban

by Matt Hrkac | Jul 1, 2025 | Editorial

Forest activists stage a theatrical stunt in Wombat State Forest to raise awareness of and highlight the continued habbitat destruction and apparent logging, despite the State Government's ban on native forest logging.

We did an editorial photoshoot of the action, as well as drone photos and video. The drone photos really show the scale of the destruction - which Forest Fire Management Victoria (the spiritial succcessor to the now defunct VicForests) is for "bushfire management" - that continues in state forests.

We can do both drone photography and videography, as well as editorial photoshoots and video shoots, all across Victoria. Get in contact to enquire.
