Eclipse: In Bloom lights up the Geelong Botanical Gardens

The Geelong Botanical Gardens is playing host to a limited-season winter light show: Eclipse: In Bloom, which "tells the story of a garden coming alive after sunset; a hidden nocturnal world where native flora, pollinators and natural ecosystems glow with colour, movement and life". The light show is produced by LaserVision, and the whole show certainly lives up to its promise of a dreamlike world.

We went along to take photos as well as to film the various aspects of the light show. Much like us, the cold wasn't keeping people away either and people of all ages were in attendance and enjoying the various displays while we were there. But as we expect, the lighting - including the use of smoke machines for many of the displays throughout the walk - allowed for some stunning imagery and footage.
